Oklahoma City bombing case reopened after 10 years!
The Oklahoma City bombing case has been reopened after 10 years. This information came to me from reading an excellent article written by J.D. Cash in the online version of the McCurtain Daily Gazette.

The article reports that after the head of the original FBI investigation,Danny Defenbaugh, was quoted in 2000 as saying, "The FBI will never reopen the case, under any circumstances. Even if McVeigh calls and gives us names," Defenbaugh stated, "we will never reopen it."

Apparently, a civil suit filed by a Utah attorney, Jesse Trentadue, seeking documents from the Oklahoma FBI office in connection with the death of his murdered younger brother Kenny who was an inmate in prison with McVeigh may have flushed how evidence of a wider conspiracy in the bombing caused the FBI to reopen the case.

Mr. Trentadue claims that his brother was tortured and killed while being held as an inmate in the Oklahoma City Federal Transfer Center because he was suspected of involvement in the bombing conspiracy. Mr. Trentadue allegedly receieved information from a person close to McVeigh who was awaiting execution at the time.

Several weeks ago a court order from U.S. District Judge Dale A. Kimbal ordered release of some 100 new documents that appear to point toward the involvement of others in the bombing conspiracy. These documents are highly redacted with names and whole sentences redacted. The documents indicated that the FBI was involved in an operation with the help of the Southern Poverty Law Center a non-profit organization co-founded by Alabama attorney Morris Dees.

After over a decade we can only hope that a real investigation of the Oklahoma City Bombing is finally forthcoming. Perhaps the court can get Mr. Dees on the stand and see what SPLC knew about the bombing and when it knew it. We would also like to see the question of who killed police officer TERRY YEAKEY and to know how his killing was related to the wider conspiracy of the Oklahoma bombing. America deserves answers on this after more than 10 years!
